Topic               A Resolution to Authorize Submission of a Federal Funding Grant Application in the Amount of $25,732 for the Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center’s Restorative Justice Program

Since 1999, Fauquier County has been awarded Federal grant funds for a program used to conduct juvenile accountability conferencing for the Fauquier County court system, known as the Restorative Justice Program.  The Restorative Justice Program is administered by the Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center.  The attached resolution authorizes submission of a funding application in the amount of $25,732.00 for continuance of the grant.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

The application is for a Federal funding grant which does not require a local match.
