Topic: A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO INSTITUTE THE ROAD ABANDONMENT PROCESS FOR PORTIONS OF WESLEY CHAPEL ROAD AND ENON SCHOOL ROAD WHICH HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR MAINTENANCE AND ARE NOT CURRENTLY IN THE STATE SECONDARY SYSTEMS OF HIGHWAYS

Topic Description:

Attached is a proposed resolution directing the County Administrator to institute the road abandonment process for portions of Wesley Chapel Road and Enon School Road.  Said portions of the roads to be abandoned are not currently in the state secondary system of highways.  With concurrence of the Virginia Department of Transportation, the Fauquier County Transportation Committee unanimously recommends that the section of roads be abandoned.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adopting the attached resolution.
