Topic: A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ACCEPT A PORTION OF WOODLAWN LANE FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH ALBRECHT LANE AND SPRINGDALE DRIVE, AND GREENBRIER ROAD FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH WOODLAWN LANE AND BROOKMOOR DRIVE

Topic Description:

Attached is a proposed resolution requesting VDOT to accept into the State Secondary System a portion of Woodlawn Lane from its intersection with Albrecht Lane and Springdale Drive, and also Greenbrier Road from its intersection with Woodlawn Lane and Brookmoor Drive.  Both roads were dedicated to public use by that certain Deed of Dedication dated June 6, 1961 and recorded June 7, 1961, in Deed Book 213 at page 48, among the land records of Fauquier County, Virginia, but were never taken into the State Secondary System.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adopting the attached resolution.
