RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE FY 2009 ADOPTED
BUDGET BY $437,574
WHEREAS, the Fauquier
County Board of Supervisors is charged by the Code of Virginia with the
preparation of an annual budget for Fauquier County; and
WHEREAS, on April 2, 2008, the Board
of Supervisors adopted the Fauquier County FY 2009 Budget; and
WHEREAS, during the course of the
fiscal year certain events occur that necessitate changing the budget
plan by increasing or decreasing the total budget; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on March 5,
2009, the Finance Committee recommended for FY 2009 budget adjustments
of $437,574 for the purposes set forth below; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED by the Fauquier County
Board of Supervisors this 9th day of April 2009, That the FY
2009 Budget be, and is hereby, amended in the amount of $437,574 as
indicated on the attached summary.
