A Closed Meeting Pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711.A.7 Pertaining to Consultation with the County Attorney Regarding Actual  or Probable Litigation and Specific Legal Matters Requiring the Provision of Legal Advice by the County Attorney on the issue of the Sagebrush Special Exception Application

Topic Description:

Sagebrush, LLC, filed a special exception application for a permit to locate an drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in the Marshall Service District.  The Planning Commission held a public hearing and recommended that the Board of Supervisors deny the application.  The applicant has requested that the application be tabled at this time and has also filed a complaint with the Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Fair Housing Act.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a closed session.
