A Resolution to Update the
Rates Charged to the General Public for GIS Maps and
Services |

Topic Description: |

Fees for GIS Maps and Services were established by Board Resolution in 1992 and
have not since been reviewed or updated to reflect current costs for time and
materials to produce an item.
The GIS Department has
reviewed and developed a new proposed fee schedule to
reflect current costs to produce products and services for
the general public. This new fee schedule was developed in
line with the Freedom of Information Act.
The GIS Department
respectfully requests that the Board of Supervisors review
and adopt the attached Resolution. The new fees, if
adopted, would become effective July 1st, 2008.

Financial Impacts Analysis: |

Adoption of the attached
updated fee schedule will assist the GIS Department in
recovering the costs associated with providing it’s products
