A Resolution to Execute a Conservation Easement on Approximately Twenty Six Acres at Rappahannock Landing

Topic Description:

In order to obtain grant funding associated with the acquisition of property at Rappahannock Landing it is necessary to place a conservation easement on the property.  The proposed grantees are the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and the Piedmont Environmental Counsel.  The easement will provide that the property will be perpetually committed to use as park land in accordance with the grant funding to be provided.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adopting the attached resolution
