Topic: 

A Joint Work Session with the Warrenton Town Council to Discuss the Centex Development Proposal and the Town’s Request for the County to Enter into an Agreement in Lieu of Annexation

Topic Description:

Centex has proposed a development on the Arrington Property.  As part of that development, it is proposed that a portion of the Arrington property which currently is located outside of the boundaries of the Town of Warrenton be moved into Town corporate limits by means of an agreement in lieu of annexation between the Town and the County.  The Town Council has requested a joint meeting with the Board of Supervisors to discuss this proposal.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a work session.
