A Resolution to Authorize the County Administrator to Accept the Conveyance of Right-of-Way within Oak Lake Subdivision

Topic Description:

The residents of Oak Lake Subdivision have requested that the streets within the subdivision be taken into the State System of Secondary Roads.  The Virginia Department of Transportation has reviewed the streets and agreed to accept them into the State system.  Acquisition of title to the roads is the first step in the process of acceptance of the roads.  A portion of the right-of-way was owned by a predecessor in title to the subdivider, and the owner recently agreed to convey the parcel.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
