Clarke-Fauquier-Frederick-Winchester Regional Jail Board
into a Regional Jail Authority |

Topic Description: |
|
The Regional Jail expects to
commence construction on a new facility in May 2005. In
preparation for the financing of the new facility,
consideration is being given to the formation of a jail
authority that could issue revenue bonds to finance the
costs of the new facility. This work session is designed to
provide an overview of the
implications to Fauquier County of converting from a
regional jail board to a regional jail authority. |
