RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS

IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,248

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors is charged by the Code of Virginia with the preparation of an annual budget for Fauquier County and during the course of the fiscal year certain events occur which necessitate changing the budget plan by increasing or decreasing the total budget; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors and School Board met in the past to discuss the merits of E-Government and during the meeting members of the Board of Supervisors indicated possible support of the School Board’s E-Government initiative; and

WHEREAS, the School Board has reviewed and approved the type of equipment necessary for their E-Government initiative costing $27,248 and requests Board of Supervisors funding support of this amount now; therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 15th day of April 2002, That the sum of $27,248 from the Contingency Reserve be appropriated as follows:
