ORDINANCE AN
ORDINANCE TO APPROVE REZONING #RZ98-CR-13 CALVIN L. RITCHIE PROPERTY
WHEREAS, Calvin L. Ritchie, owner and applicant, has
filed an application to rezone approximately two acres of a 96-acre parcel
from Industrial Park (I-1 Conditional) to General Industrial (I-2); and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this
application on January 28, 1999 and has forwarded the application to the
Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS,
the Board of Supervisors has considered the written and orally presented
information of the applicants and conducted a public hearing for this
application on April 15, 2002; and WHEREAS,
by the adoption of this Ordinance the Board of Supervisors has determined
that the public necessity, convenience, general welfare, or good zoning
practice is satisfied by this amendment to the Fauquier County Zoning Map;
now, therefore, be it ORDAINED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 15th day of April 2002, That Rezoning Request #RZ98-CR-13 to change the zoning designation of a 2 acre portion of a 96 acre parcel on Ritchie Road (Route 644), identified as PIN 7808-52-4186-000 and shown on the rezoning plat submitted with the amended application on February 26, 2002, from Industrial Park (I-1 Conditional) to General Industrial (I-2) be, and is hereby, approved. |
