The
Commonwealth Transportation Board's Regional Financial Planning
and Programming Meeting for the Culpeper District will be held on
April 16, 2002. The
meeting will be held at the Virginia Department of Transportation
(VDOT) Culpeper District Office to collect public input to update
the Six-Year Improvement Plan for the Virginia Department of
Transportation. At
this meeting, the Commonwealth Transportation Board members and
VDOT staff will receive information about needs for improving
interstate highways, primary or urban roads, and public
transportation. Prior
to public comments, VDOT staff will outline the current financial
circumstances and General Assembly actions.
The
County’s Transportation Committee has proposed nine (9)
transportation priorities, which are attached in the form of a
resolution, for the Board of Supervisors consideration.
