Topic: 

A Work Session with the Fauquier County Health Department to Introduce the New Health Director for our Region and to be Briefed on the Health Department’s Annual Review of Alternative Septic Systems within the County

Topic Description:

The Virginia Department of Health has hired Dr. David Compton as the new Health Director for the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission (PD-9).  Dr. Compton will be introduced to the Board at this work session.

In addition to the introduction of the new Health Director, the Board of Supervisors will be briefed on the Health Department’s review of alternative septic disposal systems over the last year.  The County currently funds a half-time position to review and monitor such systems.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct the work session.
