Funding for the Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) on
Fifth and Sixth Round PDR Applications

Topic Description: |
|
The Purchase of Development
Rights (PDR) Committee recommends the Board of Supervisors
approve funding for four qualifying applicants to the PDR
Program, as shown on the attached scoring sheet. In
addition, funding is requested for one additional
development right from the Fifth Round on the Cynthia
Brickley farm. |

Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the
attached resolution. |

Financial Impacts Analysis: |
|
Applicants payment of
$30,000 per development right will be paid entirely from the
County’s PDR Program fund. All combined, the County will pay
$1,410,000 for 47 development rights to protect 814.87
acres. |
