Topic: 

A Continuation of the Board’s April Work Session to Review Utility Needs of Service Districts and Current Capital Plans of the Fauquier County Water & Sanitation Authority

Topic Description:

The purpose of the work session is to continue the review of the utility needs of the Service Districts, as well as the current capital plans of the Fauquier County Water & Sanitation Authority.  Recent regulations from the Department of Environmental Quality require wastewater treatment plants to meet new standards and also establishes limits on plant treatment capacities.  The session will include discussions on these issues and possible options to make provisions for providing utilities to Service Districts as contemplated in the Comprehensive Plan. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct the work session.
