A Resolution to Establish Additional Cash Drawers for the Parks and Recreation Department Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Regions

Topic Description:

Consideration of a resolution to institute 22 additional cash drawers in the total amount of $2,900 to accommodate additional summer staffing, maintain proper accountability, establish compliance with the County’s Petty Cash Policy FD-1, and the Parks and Recreation Policy B 8.  The Finance Department is currently reviewing the County’s Petty Cash Policy and this agenda request will keep Parks and Recreation in compliance until that time.   Under consideration for the new policy is the return of these cash drawers at the end of the season.  

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.


Financial Impacts Analysis:

An additional $2,900 total in cash drawers.
