A Resolution to Adopt the National Interagency Incident Management System

Topic Description:

The Presidential Homeland Security Directive (HSPD)-5 mandated the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to develop and administer a National Interagency Incident Management System (NIIMS) to provide standardized procedures and to utilize Federal funding to enhance local agency readiness in the event of a domestic incident.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
