Topic: 

A Resolution to Adopt the FY 2010-2015 Capital Improvement Program

Topic Description:

This item includes a summary of the proposed FY 2010-2015 Capital Improvement Program and debt service projections over the plan’s term.  The proposed CIP is the product of six months’ staff work and review.  Staff presented the proposed CIP to the Planning Commission on February 26, 2009.  The Planning Commission conducted two work sessions on the proposal, held its public hearing on March 26, and voted 5-0-0 to recommend that the Board of Supervisors approve the plan as submitted.  The Board of Supervisors conducted a work session on the proposed CIP on May 14, 2009. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

The Board of Supervisors adopted the FY 2010 budget Capital Improvement Fund as part of the FY 2010 Appropriations Resolution on March 31, 2009.  Financial impacts for the subsequent years of the CIP are shown on the attached summary document.
