Topic: 

A Resolution to Award Contracts for HVAC Replacements at the Warrenton Main Library, John Barton Payne Library, Adult Detention Center and Vint Hill Village Green Racquetball Courts

Topic Description:

On April 16, 2009, three bids were opened for scheduled HVAC replacements at Warrenton Library, John Barton Payne Library, Adult Detention Center and Vint Hill Village Green Racquetball Courts.  Funds were budgeted as a part of the Major systems budget that provides for the scheduled replacement of roofs and HVAC systems. 

The staff recommends award to Precision Mechanical Services LTD, the lowest responsible bidder.  This bidder has performed successful projects for the County and references were positive. 

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Funding through the Major Systems Replacement fund is available.

Identify any other Departments, Organizations or Individuals that would be affected by this request:
