Topic:               

A Resolution to Authorize the Revision of Selected Human Resources Policies

Topic Description:

The Fauquier County Human Resources Policy Manual is being reviewed in its entirety for necessary updates and revisions.  Part of this review entails grouping related policies to eliminate duplication, removing policies from the manual that are administrative in nature or obsolete, and providing a logical sequencing and retrieval of information.  To this end, the following policies have been revised:

                                                Policy 2-J – Leave Donation                 

                                                Policy 16-A – Tuition Reimbursement        

                                                Policy 36 – Workers’ Compensation.

These revisions and recommendations have received the endorsement of the Personnel Committee.     

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
