A Resolution Authorizing the Revision of Human Resources Policy 26, Reduction in Force

Topic Description:

The Fauquier County Human Resources Policy Manual is being reviewed in its entirety for necessary updates and revisions.  Part of this review entails grouping related policies to eliminate duplication, removing policies from the manual that are administrative in nature and providing a logical sequencing and retrieval of information.  To this end, the following policy has been revised:

Policy 26, Reduction In Force.             

The revisions to Policy 26 have received the endorsement of the Personnel Committee.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
