RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE ADJUSTMENT OF THE SALARY RANGES OF THE FAUQUIER COUNTY GOVERNMENT POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN

WHEREAS, Fauquier County Government desires to remain competitive with respect to the recruitment and retention of quality employees; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has approved and adopted a Position Classification and Compensation Plan; and

WHEREAS, periodic adjustments to the Position Classification and Compensation Plan are necessary to maintain competitiveness in the areas of recruitment and retention; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 20th day of May 2002, That the salary ranges (top and bottom) of the Fauquier County Position Classification and Compensation Plan be adjusted by 3%, effective June 1, 2002.
