A Resolution Directing the County Administrator to Schedule a Public Hearing to Amend Chapter 7 of the County Code to Establish a Central Absentee Precinct for Town Elections and to Relocate the Polling Place for Casanova Precinct from the Dominion Virginia Office to Lord Fairfax Community College

Topic Description:

The Dominion Virginia Building will no longer be available for elections, and Lord Fairfax Community College has agreed to serve as a polling place.  Additionally, the Code is to be amended to provide that the central absentee polling place for all town elections shall be the Office of the General Registrar, 32 Waterloo Street, Suite 207, Warrenton.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
