This text
amendment was initiated by the Board of Supervisors on
November 13, 2008. Since the amendment was Board of
Supervisors’ initiated, §13-205 of the Zoning Ordinance
requires the Planning Commission to provide the Board a
recommendation within a designated time period, unless
extended. The original initiation provided 90 days for
Planning Commission action, and the Board of Supervisors
previously granted a 90-day extension to that time-line,
providing for Planning Commission action in May 2009.
Additional time is necessary for the Planning Commission to
work on the proposed amendment. The additional 90-day
extension would provide for Planning Commission action by
August 2009. |
