A Resolution to Designate Grant Applicant’s Agent for a Grant to Purchase and Install a Multi-Band Radio Repeater on the Blue Mountain Radio Tower      

Topic Description:

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, through the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, has informed the County of its intent to award a Public Safety Interoperable Communications grant to purchase and install a multi-band radio repeater on the Blue Mountain radio tower.     

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

This grant requires no additional funding.
