Topic: 

A Resolution to Adopt the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) FY 2009 – FY 2018

Topic Description:

Annually, the Planning Commission recommends to the Board of Supervisors capital construction projects to be included in the Capital Improvement Program. After six months of staff work, three months of review and a public hearing by the Planning Commission, the attached project recommendations were provided for the Board of Supervisors’ consideration. The detail supporting summary was provided previously. A Board of Supervisors’ CIP work session and public hearing have been held to review recommendations of the Planning Commission. FY 2009 projects have been moved to later years due to the current economic conditions impacting the County.

Also attached is a memorandum from the Chairman of the Library Board on the New Baltimore Library Project.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
