RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION TO REINSTITUTE THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000) IN FUNDING FOR FY 2009 FOR THE VIRGINIA SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER AT THE FAUQUIER CAMPUS OF THE LORD FAIRFAX COMMUNITY COLLEGE WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors had provided the Virginia Small Business Development Center at the Fauquier Campus of the Lord Fairfax Community College with $40,000 in funding for FY 2008; and WHEREAS, the County’s FY 2009 Budget does not include any funding for the Virginia Small Business Development Center at the Fauquier Campus of the Lord Fairfax Community College; and WHEREAS, the Virginia Small Business Development Center at the Fauquier Campus of the Lord Fairfax Community College has requested that the County re-institute its funding for the FY 2009 Budget; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors does, by the adoption of this resolution, determine that it is the best interest of the citizens of the County and the businesses located in Fauquier County to re-institute the funding for the Virginia Small Business Development Center at the Fauquier Campus of the Lord Fairfax Community College in the amount of $30,000; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 12th day of June 2008, That the Board of Supervisors does hereby re-institute the funding for the Virginia Small Business Development Center at the Fauquier Campus of the Lord Fairfax Community College in the amount of $30,000 for FY 2009; and, be it RESOLVED FURTHER, That such funding shall be taken from the Contingency Reserve.
