Topic: 

A Resolution Authorizing the County Administrator to Enter Into an Open Space Use Agreement With Landowners

Topic Description:

One of the options for qualifying for the special land use assessment program under the open space category is to have a recorded agreement with the governing body.  The landowners listed on the attached resolution have signed the Open Space Use Agreements which, upon approval by the Board, shall remain in effect for a term of eight (8) consecutive years.  This resolution consists of the new agreements as well as renewals.  The agreements will be returned to the owners for recordation at their expense.  At that time, the Commissioner of the Revenue will classify the parcels as open space.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:  

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

There are no financial impacts of the requested action.
