RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZATION TO ESTABLISH THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT COMMONWEALTH’S ATTORNEY

WHEREAS, the Compensation Board has approved the allocation and funding of one additional Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Fauquier County Government due to an increased case load; and

WHEREAS, Jonathan Lynn, Commonwealth’s Attorney has requested the establishment of the position of Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 14th day of June 2007, That the position of Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney be established.
