RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE BETWEEN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AND THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AT 330 HOSPITAL DRIVE WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Health currently leases a portion of 330 Hospital Drive; and WHEREAS, the original lease entered into between the Health Department and the County in 1987 leased the entire property to the Health Department; and WHEREAS, in 1992 the lease was modified to lease a smaller amount of space and to afford the Health Department a credit toward rent; and WHEREAS, the Health Department is now requesting that it be authorized to revert to the original terms of the 1987 lease; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has determined that the proposed amendment to the lease is acceptable; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 14th day of June 2007, That the County Administrator be, and is hereby, authorized to execute an amendment to the lease between the Board of Supervisors and the Virginia Department of Health, authorizing the Health Department to re-occupy the original space. |
