The
current contract with Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates provides
for renewals. There
are several compelling reasons to renew, as follows:

Fauquier County will have a new Finance Director who will need to
regularly confer with the
County's Independent Auditor.

The new School Superintendent will need to confer with the
auditors to clarify established
processes and procedures.
These conversations have already begun.

Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates has assigned a senior partner
(David Hughes) to lead the audit
team for Fauquier
in recognition of county
staff transitions. Mr.
Hughes has more than a decade of
direct working experience with Fauquier County.

Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates performs more County audits in
Virginia than any other
accounting firm.
