A Resolution to Adopt the 6-Year Capital Improvement, Maintenance and Furniture & Equipment (F & E) Programs Pre-Application for the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport

Topic Description:

On May 24, 2004, the Fauquier County Airport Committee adopted the attached 6-year Capital Improvement, Maintenance and F & E Programs Pre-Application for the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport.  The Airport Committee is submitting the 6-year plan to the Board of Supervisors for adoption.  The plan is submitted annually to the State as a part of the process of seeking State and Federal financial participation for airport improvement projects.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

State and Federal financial assistance is the funding source for these projects.  The required local cash match varies from 2% to 20% depending upon whether the project is eligible for Federal assistance.
