RESOLUTION A Resolution to DENY SPECIAL EXCEPTION SPEX04-MA-020, a Category 20 Special Exception to Allow FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ABOVE GROUND WATER STORAGE SILO WHEREAS, the owners of the property located off Main Street in Marshall, across from the Marshall Rescue Squad and east of Lunceford Lane, further identified by PIN #6969-47-7043-000, have requested a Category 20 Special Exception to allow for the construction of an above ground water storage silo; and WHEREAS, the requested Special Exception would allow the applicants to construct a water storage silo on the proposed site within the Cannon Ridge subdivision’s dedicated open space; and WHEREAS, on April 29, 2004, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend denial of the Special Exception SPEX04-MA-020 to the Board of Supervisors for the following reasons: 1. The proposal for the Special Exception is not consistent with the Fauquier County Comprehensive Plan.
; and WHEREAS, on June 21, 2004, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and considered the Special Exception application, and concurred with the judgment of the Planning Commission; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 21st day of June 2004, That Special Exception SPEX04-MA-020, Douglas E. & Sharon Y. Darling, Owners/Applicants, be, and is hereby, denied. |
