Topic:

A Resolution to Receive the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board and Area Agency On Aging (RRRCSB-AAA) FY 2010 Performance Contract with the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services and the Area Plan for Aging Services

Topic Description:

The Board of Supervisors conducted a work session on July 9, 2009 to review the RRCSB-AAA work program for the coming year. Brian Duncan, Executive Director of Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA), presented the 2010 Program Plan for Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA) operations, for citizens who are elderly and those with disabilities related to mental illness, mental retardation, and substance abuse problems. A summary of the services provided and Board objectives for FY 10 is attached.   In June 2009, this plan was reviewed and approved by the full Board of Directors.

The Board of Supervisors is asked to consider approving a resolution acknowledging their receipt and review of this plan.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

The Board approved for Fiscal 2010 a budget of $347,009 based on 2006 actual population data and a per capita amount of $5.40.
