Topic:

A Work Session to Review the Fiscal Year 2010 Program Plan for Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board and Area Agency on Aging, and to Consider a Supporting Resolution 

Topic Description:

Brian Duncan, Executive Director of Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA), will present the 2010 Program Plan for Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA) operations, for citizens who are elderly and those with disabilities related to mental illness, mental retardation, and substance abuse problems. A summary of the services provided and Board objectives for FY 10 is attached.   In June 2009, this plan was reviewed and approved by the full RRCSB-AAA Board of Directors.

The County is also asked to consider approving a resolution acknowledging their receipt and review of this plan.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a work session.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

The Board approved for Fiscal 2010 a budget of $347,009 based on 2006 actual population data and a per capita amount of $5.40.
