Topic: 

A Resolution of Official Intent to Reimburse Expenditures with Proceeds of a Borrowing for Public Safety Radio Improvements and the Fire Training Center and Firing Range included in the 2008 Capital Improvement Program

Topic Description:

A reimbursement resolution is necessary to ensure the County has the option of requesting reimbursement for expenditures associated with improvements to the Public Safety Radio System and the construction of a Fire Training Center/Firing Range prior to the receipt of bond proceeds.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Expenditures incurred 60 days (May 14, 2007) prior to the approval of the reimbursement resolution may be submitted for reimbursement from bond proceeds sold at a future date.
