Update on Warrenton-Fauquier Airport Improvements

TOPIC DESCRIPTION:

The Warrenton-Fauquier Airport Committee and staff are working on a number of significant projects at the airport and wish to brief the Board of Supervisors.

Issues to be covered include:

1.      Six-year Capital Plan

2.      County Management Contract

3.      Runway Extension/Rehabilitation

a.      Plans/Schedule

b.      Funding/Grant update

4.      FBO Contract Revisions

5.      Economic Development/Utilities

REQUESTED ACTION:

Provide further direction as needed.

FINANCIAL IMPACTS ANALYSIS:

The Warrenton-Fauquier Airport operates on an enterprise fund.  A three-year financial plan has been prepared to support these initiatives.
