Topic: 

A Resolution to Award a Contract  for Professional Engineering Design Services for the Northern Sports Field Complex Project

Topic Description:

The County issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Professional Engineering Design Services for the Northern Sports Field Complex project.  Five engineering firms submitted proposals and the top two firms, based on points assigned during the review stage, were interviewed.  Based on results from those interviews, the top-ranked company was identified as Patton Harris Rust & Associates.  The review committee began contract negotiations with the firm and completed contract discussions and fee negotiations on July 10, 2002.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Adopt the attached resolution.
