Transportation install “Watch for Children” signAGE on DAVIS

Topic
Description:
At the request of Edward Davis, a resident
on Davis Road (Route 824), and with the concurrence of the Board
of Supervisors and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT),
“Watch for Children” signs would be installed on Davis Road.
These signs will be placed at locations VDOT deems appropriate.
On
June 26, 2002, the Transportation Committee recommended approval
of the request.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors:

Adopt the attached resolution.

There is no financial
impact analysis required for this request.
VDOT
will fund the installation of the signs.
