Contract for Architectural and Engineering Services for Fire
Rescue Station Improvements |

Topic Description: |
|
Per the Ten Year Service Plan for Fire Rescue & Emergency
Services, the facility improvements initiative has
identified a renovation and new construction schedule for
fire rescue stations. The County has solicited proposals
from architectural and engineering firms and has selected
the firm of Hughes Group Architects to first identify the
total costs of all projects, and secondly provide all
architectural and construction management services for each
project. The cost estimating phase will begin immediately. |

Consider adoption of the attached resolution. |

Financial Impacts Analysis: |
|
Funds have been previously appropriated for this work from
the Fire Tax Levy to the Fire Rescue CIP Fund. The contract
to Hughes Group Architects is for Step 1 in the amount of
$33,360 |
