Topic: 

 A Resolution to Approve the Enrollment of Fauquier County Assistant Fire Marshal in the 2004 National Fire, Arson and Explosion Investigation Training Program

Topic Description:

During the month of August 2004, travel and training expenditures in excess of $1,000 for Fire Marshal Dave Lauler to finish and obtain instructor credentials.  In turn, he will provide required continuing education to County Fire Marshal's in-house, saving additional travel, registration fees and time.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

 

Total expenses, including conference registration, travel and lodging, are expected to be approximately $1,644.50.
