The
proposed Ordinance,
if adopted, would add Part 9 to Article 4 of the Fauquier County
Zoning Ordinance permitting the establishment of overlay districts
to protect watersheds that are now, or may in the future, supply
reservoirs used as public water systems in
Fauquier
County.
The resolution initiates the proposed amendment and refers
the proposed Ordinance to the Planning Commission for its review,
comment and recommendation. The
resolution also directs the
County
Administrator
to initiate a study
proposed to identify the watersheds needing protection.
