Topic:

A Resolution to Receive the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board’s FY 2007 Performance Contract with the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services and the Area Plan For Aging Service

Topic Description:

Brian Duncan, Executive Director of Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA), requests the Board of Supervisors to receive the 2007 Program Plan for Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA) operations, for citizens who are elderly and those with disabilities related to mental illness, mental retardation, and substance abuse problems. A summary of the services provided and Board objectives for FY 07 is attached.   In June 2006, this plan was reviewed and approved by the full RRCSB-AAA Board of Directors.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Fauquier County will provide $292,235 Fiscal Year 2007, based on a $4.78 / per capita and 2003 census data.
