A Resolution to Authorize the Revision of Human Resources Policy 24, Types of Employment

Topic Description:

Policy 24, Types of Employment, of the Fauquier County Human Resources Policy Manual has been revised to ensure consistent definition of “work week” with the definition contained in Policy 9, Work Schedules and Attendance.

Additionally, the paragraphs referring to hiring of retirees have been deleted, and will be added to the Hiring Policy.

The revision of Policy 24, Types of Employment, has received the endorsement of the Personnel Committee.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
