Topic:

A Work Session to Review the Fiscal Year 2006 Program Plan for Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Fiscal Agent Authorization

Topic Description:

Brian Duncan, Executive Director of Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA), will present the 2006 Program Plan for Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA) operations, for citizens who are elderly and those with disabilities related to mental illness, mental retardation, and substance abuse problems. A summary of the services provided and Board objectives for FY 06 is attached.   In June 2005, this plan was reviewed and approved by the full RRCSB-AAA Board of Directors.

The County is also asked to consider approving a resolution to authorize the RRCSB-AAA to act as its own fiscal agent.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct a work session.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

Fauquier County will provide $248,126 Fiscal Year 2006.
