Topic Description:
During a work session on
August 11, 2005, Brian Duncan, Executive Director of
Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on
Aging (RRCSB-AAA), presented the 2006 Program Plan for
Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board Area Agency on
Aging (RRCSB-AAA) operations, for citizens who are elderly
and those with disabilities related to mental illness,
mental retardation, and substance abuse problems. A
summary of the services
provided and Board objectives for FY 06 is
attached. In June 2005, this plan was reviewed and
approved by the full RRCSB-AAA Board of Directors.
The County is also asked to
receive the RRCSB-AAA FY 2006 Performance Contract with the
Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and
Substance Abuse Services and the Area Plan for Aging
Services, and to authorize the RRCSB-AAA to act as its own
fiscal agent. |
