A Presentation by the John Marshall Soil & Water Conservation District Providing Cost-Share and Educational Program Updates

Topic Description:

Representatives of the John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District (JMSCWD) will present a progress report about the programs provided and implemented over the past year and current program status.  Information will be provided about the positive benefits of installing conservation practices improving water quality, resources provided by the JMSWCD, and educational programs which provide a meaningful watershed experiences for students about the importance of protecting our natural resources.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Conduct the work session.

Financial Impacts Analysis:

There is no financial impact.  John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District is providing this informational presentation to show the value of the District to the citizens of Fauquier County.
