A Resolution to Authorize the Revision of the Petty Cash Policy

Topic Description:

Attached for the Board of Supervisorsí consideration is a revision to the Petty Cash Policy initially adopted on May 1, 2005.  The revisions were reviewed by the Finance Committee at itís meeting held on July 2, 2009.  The  recommended policy is attached.  This revision includes an increase to the allowable daily petty cash withdrawal, adds a requirement to submit documentation within 90 days, enhances internal controls, and addresses specific needs of certain user departments.

Requested Action of the Board of Supervisors: 

Consider adoption of the attached resolution.
