RESOLUTION
A
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION FOR A RECOVERY ACT GRANT FOR
COMMUNITY RENEWABLE ENERGY DEPLOYMENT
WHEREAS,
grant funding up to $21,450,000 is available through the Recovery Act
for Community Renewable Energy Deployment; and
WHEREAS,
the waste to energy facility proposed for construction at the Fauquier
County Sanitary Landfill would be a project eligible for consideration
under this grant opportunity; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED
by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors this 13th day of
August 2009, That the Board of Supervisors does hereby authorize staff
to submit a grant application to the U.S. Department of Energy; and, be
it
RESOLVED
FINALLY, That the County Administrator be, and is hereby, authorized to
sign documents related to this grant application on behalf of Fauquier
County.
